Staying hydrated is extremely important! Whether you’re working out or not, staying hydrated simply makes you feel better, gives you more energy and keeps you more alert throughout the day.
You don’t need to go on some crazy diet to stay healthy. Make healthy choices and try out some yummy healthy recipes! You will find that once you start eating healthy, junk food starts to lose its appeal.
Get A Routine And Stick to It:
Your exercise routine can be as intense or not as intense as you would like it to be. It can be a 30 min walk everyday, every other day, etc. Just try anything to keep you moving. The trick to sticking to it is to make it part of your day. Set aside a time in the day, like in the morning, that is specifically just for your exercise.
Mix It Up:
Whenever a routine starts to get boring or too easy, try to incorporate new exercise (or try something new entirely). This will ensure you won’t get bored and uninterested.
Keep It Fun:
Exercise is not always fun, but it can be! Crank up your tunes or workout with friends. Love bike riding, dancing, swimming, etc.? All of these are forms of exercise!
Makes Some Time For You:
Mental health is just as, if not more important than, physical health. Take 15-20 mins away from your day to just chill. Anything relaxing that you enjoy will do. Whether this is listening to music, doing yoga or reading some “you” time is always needed.
